Description

32 Sandpiper is an oceanfront three bedroom home that makes you feel like you are on an Island at the "End of the World". Set privately at the end of an oceanfront cul de sac, this home features stunning sunsets over the less crowded South and West beaches. Ships can be seen in the distance going to and from the shipping channel to Wilmington. Beach access is directly across from the private driveway to 32 Sandpiper Trail. This home may have the very best sunsets on the Island, you might just see the green flash!

Inside you will find a fully renovated and updated interior with a reverse floor plan, upstairs you will find a large open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. The living room opens onto a covered veranda with Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs to soak in the gorgeous ocean views. The kitchen features upgraded stainless appliances, quartz counter tops. Two light houses can be seen! The kids bunk room is also upstairs and sleeps 3.

Downstairs, you will find two master bedrooms. One with a King, an d the other with two Queen beds. Both bedrooms open onto a first floor covered porch with great views.

Sleeps 9. Two golf carts are included. A BHI Club Lifestyle membership is available but not included. A Shoals Club is also available but not included.

Bikes are not serviced or maintained by BHIR, therefore if they are not satisfactory we recommend renting bikes and umbrellas from Riverside Adventure Company or Coastal Urge.

This is our second year in this house and it was as great as the first. the views are amazing, the house well updated and kept and has everything you need. Perfect location on the island and we are already planning next year!

Great experience. Love the house and location. Multiple years we’ve been coming to 32 Sandpiper.<br/><br/> As a family we prepare and eat all of our meals in the rental. As such, we would love to see more cooking accessories available for use. Such as, better sauté pans(current ones have lost their non-stick) with at least one large cooktop sauté pan, more cooking sheets, more baking casserole dishes/options.<br/>We also utilize the outdoor shower every day by multiple people. The shower head was replaced with what appeared to be an antiquated shower head that was not adjustable in any way. It was not ideal.<br/><br/>Beach chairs: old. Some definitely need replacing

We have vacationed at BHI for the past 10 years. Without doubt, Audrey was the best property manager I've ever had the pleasure to work with!<br/><br/>The location is good, but not great. It's a much longer walk to the water than I expected. Has there been beach remediation since the pics were uploaded? I can get over that. But it was a shock for the tram to drop us (and our luggage) at the end of the street with no warning since they can't turn around on Sandpiper. Departure is when this was really an issue as it was raining heavily and there are no flaps on the six seat golf cart. For this reason alone, I won't be back to this specific property. <br/><br/>Summary - MUST HAVE RAIN FLAPS on the six seat golf cart. I LOVED Audrey and will attempt to go through this same company again next year. Just a different location.

Amazing stay at 32 Sandpiper! As a long time renter on BHI I’ve always wanted to stay at this charming home because I’ve heard about the spectacular sunsets and views and it did not disappoint. Home was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Would definitely return and highly recommend!

Great location. Loved watching the boats, planes and dolphins pass by.<br/>Property clean and maintained ,would suggest a new dishwasher.<br/>Property company sent all needed info, but did not reply to questions on web site.I would definitely stay again.

This house is perfect for our 3-person group of adults. We also added a fourth this year and it suited all of us. Furnishings beautiful, beds very comfortable, kitchen is so fun to use and well-appointed. Best part is the dynamite location--best sunsets on the island. We'll definitely be back!
