Southport
Located along the west side of the mouth of the Cape Fear River, Southport can be reached by ferry or by scenic highway. If you drive into Southport, you can enjoy attractions on the way such as Orton Plantation, the Old Brunswick Town Site and the Progress Energy Nuclear Plant and Plant Energy Center.
